Bean & Thyme

ABOUT B+T

Granted, we should all eat better. Often, though, farm-to-table cooking is either too formal or just won't sate a groaning belly. Enter Bean & Thyme— providing top-quality food to satisfy your palate, stomach, and conscience.  We are a personalized, full-service deli and catering business.  Our food booth has been serving the Westside community since 2010 at Santa Monica Main St. Market.   We source produce at Farmers Markets each week, prep and vacuum-seal for freshness. We also batch our own breads; mix and shape pastas; ferment chili peppers for sauce; cure and smoke our meats in-house.  Needless to say, we keep busy!

We are happy to introduce many of our in-house ingredients available as pre-packaged food for order online and delivery; or to pick up at Farmer’s Market on Sundays.  Go to www.beanandthyme.com to see the selection.

Chef and owner, Jessie Alexander, is originally from NYC, and has lived abroad in Spain and Chile. Los Angeles is a vibrant food place, and as a chef, she creates menus with seasonal produce, taking cues from the Americas, “bringing the melting pot to your mouth”.  Our market menu focuses on simple dishes, favoring vegetarian combinations.  At Bean & Thyme we enjoy creating delicious, healthy meals for the community and as part of the community. We are available for weekly deliveries and catered events, and hope to be part of your next celebration.  Contact us at chef@beanandthyme.com
